New SAS Athletes' Representative

Lindsay Ritter joins SAS Board of Directors

Saskatchewan Artistic Swimming is happy to announce Lindsay Ritter as our newest Board Member in the role of Athletes’ Representative.  We know Lindsay will be an amazing advocate for athletes from across the province. She is very passionate about encouraging girls in sport, and loves that synchro provides a great community of girls and female role models.  We count her among those great role models!

Lindsay is in grade 12 at Luther College High School in Regina.  She has been swimming with Regina Synchro for 10 years and has been a coach for 3 years.  This makes her particularly qualified for this position as she has years of experience in this sport, both in and out of the pool.   Lindsay also has cousins that competed in artistic swimming so we know this sport is in her blood!

Lindsay will be attending the U of R in the fall studying politics, economics and philosophy.  She eventually plans on becoming a lawyer.  Another fun fact?  She has a 17 year old dog named Sophie.

We encourage all clubs to provide their athletes with Lindsay’s name, role and contact information.  Her email is  Lindsay is available to answer questions and provide support for any athlete that needs support from a peer.   Lindsay also attends our Board meetings and can bring any athlete concerns directly to the Board.

Welcome Lindsay!
