Saskatchewan Athlete Competes at World Virtual Event

Sydney Carroll only Canadian to place in top 6!

Sydney Carroll of the Saskatoon Aqualenes placed 4th in the junior category at the UANA Virtual World Artistic Swimming Competition that was held on July 26th.  She competed against other juniors from around the world in a dryland competition that showcased her strength and flexibility.  Congratulations Sydney!  SAS is so proud of all of your accomplishments.  

 

Sydney would like to add "It was so fun being united with athletes around the world over Zoom, we are all in this together! Thank you to everyone involved.”

 

Sydney plans to move to Montreal in the fall to attend McGill and train full time.  Her goal is to make the Senior National Team for the 2024 Olympics.
