Read below a message for our Acting Executive Director, Lenore Lindquist:
On behalf of SAS Board and Staff, welcome to the 2022-23 season of artistic swimming in Saskatchewan! As we see the fields turn to golden brown on the prairies, it feels like a turning point for our SAS community. For the first time in two and a half years, we feel the hope of a new season… a new season, where we have the opportunity to come together and enjoy our beautiful sport with each other. While the pandemic has taken so much from so many of us, it has not taken away hope.
With hope, comes gratitude. Please accept my sincerest “Thank you” to all our officials, volunteers, coaches, athletes, and parents who work tirelessly to make each artistic swimming year successful. Without your support and dedication, SAS would cease to exist. Over the past two years, we have experienced so many changes and we relied on your patience and willingness to adapt. We are forever grateful that you walked with us through these challenging times.
Lastly, we are excited! Excited to be looking forward to a year full of fun, learning and growth. As we continue to evolve, we want to also take time to celebrate our sport – what it can offer us and what we can offer each other. We are so excited to see you and look forward to everything a new season offers. Let us all go forward with hope, gratitude, and excitement. Best wishes to all for a successful season!
