Athletes will participate in a 10 day in province training camp in August where the provincial teams will condition and work on skill development in preparation for the 2020/2021 Competitive Season. They will also learn and train Provincial Team routines at the October 2020 and January 2021 HP Camps.

The provincial team program identifies and develops National Stream Junior, 13-15 and 12 and under athletes and ultimately athletes with the intent of participating in the Canada Summer Games and is eligible for the 2025 Canada Summer Games based on current age eligibility rules. It provides additional training hours and skill development for the top sixteen athletes in the province. The Provincial Team Selection Process is based on the established High Performance Program Selection Process. As such, the athletes qualify for the provincial team via a series of tests throughout the competitive season (January to June) to reflect the overall ability of the athlete’s figure and routine skills and fitness. This selection process utilizes Canada Artistic Swimming National Standards and processes as a point of comparison to meet National Standards and increase our athlete’s performance at the 2025 Canada Summer Games.
