Canada Artistic Swimming Awards Presented to Saskatchewan Artistic Swimming Members

Board of Directors Honour Award

This award is given to a member of the artistic swimming community who, in the judgment of the Board of Directors, has made a significant contribution to the development of the sport of artistic swimming for twenty-five (25) years or more.

Bridge Builder Award

This award is a special recognition award presented annually by the Board of Directors. A Bridge Builder has many tasks and their dedication helps ensure a bright and prosperous future for our sport. The Bridge Builder is a person who works today in order that those who follow tomorrow will have a strong base to ensure the strength and success of Canadian artistic swimming. This person demonstrates vision and flexibility for the future, as well as respect for Canada Artistic Swimming's rich past, and as a 'Bridge Builder' paves the road to tomorrow with their high regard for hard work, encouragement and achievement.

Distinguished Member Award

This award recognizes a member of Canada Artistic Swimming who has made an exceptional contribution to the ‘art as well as the sport’ of artistic swimming.

Grassroots Official of the Year Award

This award is given to the most outstanding official who has shown dedication and contributed the most to the betterment of the sport of artistic swimming at the grassroots level.

 

2016 Carol Chernishenko

Grassroots Volunteer of the Year Award

The Grassroots Volunteer of the year is awarded to the most outstanding volunteer member who has shown dedication and contributed the most to the betterment of the sport of artistic swimming for a club or provincial/territorial artistic swimming community.  Each provincial/territorial Artistic Swimming Association may only nominate 1 outstanding volunteer and the Awards Nomination Committee will select 1 recipient.  A person may only receive this award once.

Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to individuals, who in the judgment of the Board of Directors, have served, dedicated and contributed for 40 years or more. A person may only receive this Award once.
