Regina Athlete Brings Home BRONZE at 2016 National Qualifier

 

Kenzie Priddell from Regina Synchro won a bronze medal in the Senior Solo Technical Routine at the 2016 Synchronized Swimming National Qualifier. She had a final mark of 70.2868 just 1.9923 behind the silver medalist and 2.1876 behind gold medalist. Kenzie swam to the song ‘Feeling Good’ sang by Michael Buble and is coached by Tina Chernoff. This now qualifies Kenzie to compete at the 2016 Shiseido Canadian Open Championships April 26-30 in Calgary, Alberta.

 

Over 600 synchronized swimmers, coaches and judges from across Canada gathered at the Centre Aquatique Desjardins at Université Laval’s PEPS, in Quebec City March 16-20, for Synchro Canada’s 2016 Canadian Qualifier Championships. As the name suggests, the Canadian Qualifier Championships was  the opportunity for athletes to qualify for the final competitions of the year, the Canadian National Championships.
 

Athletes of the junior and senior age groups have now earned their  ticket to the Shiseido Canadian Open Championships, which will be held April 26 - 30 in Calgary, AB. Athletes of the 13-15 age group, qualifiedfor the Canadian Espoir Championships in Winnipeg, MB, on May 31 - June 5.
