Success at Canadian Prairie Championship in Winnipeg

Synchro Saskatchewan is very proud of our synchronized swimming athletes who competed at the Canadian Prairie Championships in Winnipeg, May 12-14, 2017. Our athletes secured a lot of hardware bringing home a total of nineteen (19) medals in a variety of events and age groups.

Seven clubs attended from Saskatchewan with a total of 71 athletes – Border City Stingrays, Estevan Mermaids, Moose Jaw Kinsmen Aqua Otters, North Battleford Water Doves, Regina Synchro, Saskatoon Aqualenes and Weyburn Synchro Stars. Synchro Saskatchewan also had four volunteer officials involved over the three-day event.

This was a large competition with approximately 300 athletes in attendance representing more than six provinces and included many coaches, volunteers and spectators.

A HUGE congratulation to all competitors. You made us very proud!
